TRY LINENS AND THINGS!!! LMAO
Try Sears, they have some stuff.
Maybe Rietmens (sp.?) or Addition Elle.
I’ve never shopped there but I saw it on the telly :]
To be honest with you, I don’t recommend buying online. When you get your order, if it doesn’t fit right, what are you going to do then? I always like to try my clothes on before I buy them. I like shopping at Dots, Old Navy, & Ross. You could always try JC Pennys or another major department store.
Evans and dorothy perkins online now deliver to the US they have some gorgeous dresses DP has clothes up to uk size 22 thats a US 18 and Evans has dresses up to a uk size 32 thats a US 28.
An empire line dress is the one to watch out for too really flattering good luck!
Try big department stores (JC Penney, Sears, Kohl’s, etc.) and try on dresses that have an empire waist line. This means that the waist line is right underneath your breasts so it’ll then flow from there to the hem. This style is less clingy and more attractive on a heavier girl. Also, no spaghetti straps. They won’t support you. I hope I helped.
I know what it’s like to try and find someone plus size. I was that way for most of my married life. I used to have trouble every time I wanted something “dressy” or pretty. Even though I’m no longer on the plus size, I still frequent these websites, because now I do shopping for my mom.
Here are some websites that I’ve used. Hopefully, they’ll help you out as well.
Good luck.
If the wedding is in the summer check out the selection of dresses at AlwaysForMe.com. They specialize in plus size swimsuits for woman but this season they added some really cute dresses in their cover up section. Several of the dressier styles would work for a wedding and then you could where them again in the summer. Take a look at the Always For Me Waterfall bandeau and the Rosette Ruched style (long and short). And if you buy an It Figures swimsuit – you can get a free scarf that would look great with either of these styles.
Old Navy, Cato’s.
I go to Lord and Taylor or Macy’s, they carry plus size dresses that are perfect for weddings, the last one I got at Macy’s was so comfortable, looked nice, and was under $100.
