one of the girls wants their arms covered, because she says they’re “too flabby” to not cover them – Also, it’s not going to look silly because it’s an early spring wedding, so the weather will still be cool. and i want them to be dresses the same

The only requirements I have is that the outfit fits in with formal clubwear (ie, for nightclubs), and I don’t want it to be revealing at all. Whatever it is, I’ll likely be getting it tailored so I can choose the fabrics and get a perfect fit.

P.S, currently, it seems black guys or older guys are the only ones interested in me and YES I DO think it has to do with body type.
P.SS, the reason I say more is because I feel very limited with the types of guys that are interested in me. They tend to be black or older and I prefer a white guy closer to my age.

I live in Houston, and I have to leave on the 20th for the nuptials. I am a plus-sized girl on a budget, and it’s a formal wedding. I’ve already tried EBay, Torrid, Lane Bryant, Roamans, and Avenue. I’ve also been to David’s Bridal and Alfred Angelo, and they were no help. AA won’t sell off-the-rack, and DB doesn’t have enough in-stock to buy off-the-rack.
If you happen to know a good place for me to get a dress, let me know. If you know a place on Harwin, even better.

The family is quite big and conservative, the bride is a cousin of my bf that’s not even here and currently working abroad (my bf that is). I’m not that close to the bride (I don’t even know the groom)
I have a short black dress that goes along w/ everything,but im told not to wear black. I’m not exactly sure what to wear.
I read somewhere that if it’s a morning wedding one should wear short light dresses, but if its an afternoon wedding a more formal, long evening or one would normally wear during a night out would be okay.But I was just told that this would be a “formal” garden wedding.So I’m not really sure

What dress styles would you recommend for a plus size woman? I have a big bust and a big belly but slender and shapely legs.
What gift would be best? I was thinking either a GC, a towel set or a vase?
